SUMMARY
The Spiral Within.
Ιrene, after the murder of her husband, is incarcerated and isolated from the outside world. The days pass while space and time lose their meaning. One day while she is lost in her thoughts she receives a visit from the journalist Mr. Schett. In an attempt to describe the events to him she will be confronted with grief, guilt, fear and will be caught up in a spiral of memories that reach back to her childhood.
THE MISSION
Director Statemenτ.
Based on Sabine Gruber's theatrical monologue "Till a death" is a movie about trauma and boiling point. In a circle of desperation a woman’s monologue sheds light to the contradictions that torment her. Shattered in a timeless rollercoaster she comes up against her self, giving an ambivalence view in the notion of redemption, perspective and the complexity of human nature.
